San Diego State unveils incredible new helmet design paying homage to ‘Aztec’ nickname
While Alabama coach Nick Saban made it clear last week that he’s not interested in what a uniform looks like but rather who’s wearing it, teams around the country continue to unveil exciting new designs for the 2021 season.
Latest to join the party is San Diego State, which on Monday released a new helmet design that its players will don in 2021:

Among the other teams who have announced new looks in 2021 are SEC members Missouri and Vanderbilt, along with Minnesota, Arizona, and Notre Dame.
The Aztecs finished just 4-4 last season, but they’ll be hoping their new helmets lead to more success when they open their 2021 campaign on Saturday, Sept. 4, at home against New Mexico State.
