5-star SEC target Scoot Henderson picks G League over college basketball

Scoot Henderson had his choice of several SEC programs to attend, instead, the five-star guard from Georgia is taking his talent to the NBA’s G League.
The Marietta native made his decision on Friday, picking the G League over scholarship offers from Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, and Florida, among others.
According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Henderson will make $1 million to play one season in the G League.
The 6-foot-3, 180-pound Henderson is rated as the No. 3 point guard prospect and the No. 12 overall prospect in the country for the 2022 recruiting cycle according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
