SEC announces All-Freshman Team for 2023 season

The SEC has officially announced its All-Freshman Team for the 2023 season.

Florida garnered the most selections with four. Alabama, Auburn and Texas A&M had three players apiece receive nods.

Alabama defensive back Caleb Downs, who received recognition, was named the SEC’s Freshman of the Year on Wednesday. The Crimson Tide are the lone SEC squad in this season’s College Football Playoff semifinals and will face No. 1 Michigan in the Rose Bowl for a spot in the National Championship Game.
