The biggest in-conference clashes are LSU on the road at South Carolina and Georgia making the trek to battle Kentucky. As of now, the Tigers are 7-point favorites against the Gamecocks at home, who are coming off a big win over Kentucky on Saturday. The Bulldogs are 22-point favorites over the Wildcats on the road which feels high for a in-conference matchup, but Mark Stoups hasn’t figured out how to get this year’s team to mesh as of yet.
Other notable spreads are Alabama favored by two touchdowns on the road against Wisconsin and Texas A&M as slight favorites over Florida in a game at The Swamp.
The Crimson Tide let South Florida hang around in the first half on Saturday but ultimately found their groove, winning 42-16. The Aggies are an interesting one as they struggled mightily — especially on offense — in their Week 1 loss against Notre Dame.
Texas A&M will hope to carry the momentum from their blowout victory over McNeese State into a hostile environment in Gainesville, where the Gators have a new spark after true freshman QB DJ Lagway led them to a 45-7 victory over Samford on Saturday.
It will be interesting to see how these matchups play out in Week 3.
