SEC Championship get-in ticket prices soar above other Power 5 title games

The SEC Championship’s get-in ticket price well exceeds that of other Power 5 title games as of Monday.
According to ticket prices on TickPick, a single ticket for the SEC Championship between Georgia and Alabama costs $399. The Big 12 Championship has the second-highest price at $180 followed by the Big Ten title game at $98, the ACC Championship at $70 and the Pac-12 Championship at $56.
While the cheapest ticket for the SEC Championship is $399, it’s a bit higher if you want to purchase a pair at $469 for a ticket.
It’s no surprise to see ticket prices for the SEC Championship at such high prices, as the game will have plenty of College Football Playoff implications. If Georgia gets a win, there will be almost no doubt that the Bulldogs will be in the CFP. If Alabama can pull of the upset, it could see its way into the CFP. Either way, the matchup should make for a fun game.
But the SEC Championship isn’t the only one that has 2 teams gunning for a CFP spot. The Pac-12 title game between Washington and Oregon could also likely decide which of the two teams reaches the CFP. Washington is undefeated and Oregon has suffered one loss, so a win for either team could see them reach the CFP.
