SEC commissioner Greg Sankey has released a statement on this weekend’s racially-charged boycott at the University of Missouri:
“I have been in touch with University of Missouri athletics officials today and will remain in communication as necessary. I respect Missouri student-athletes for engaging on issues of importance and am hopeful the concerns at the center of this matter will be resolved in a positive matter.”

More than 15 players have said they will not participate in ‘football-related’ activities until Missouri president Tom Wolfe resigns from his position.
Saturday’s game against BYU is in question and if canceled, would cost the Tigers’ athletic department $1 million due to a breach on contract unless the Cougars mutually agree to call off the contest:
