After Week 10, most division races are usually down to two or three teams. In the SEC East, however, a six-way tie is still very much a possibility.
The scenario isn’t extremely likely, but the fact that six teams in a seven-team division could end up in a tie is fairly intriguing. It’s either a testament to how weak the East is or the balance of competition within the division.

If the six-way tie does play out, South Carolina would be the division’s representative in Atlanta for the SEC championship game. Yes, the same Gamecocks that started the season at 2-4 could win the division title.
Such is life in the SEC East in 2016.
