The SEC finished the first week of the season a perfect 4-0 against Power 5 non-conference opponents, including a 2-0 vs. Top 25 teams.
Those two top 25 wins were of course Alabama over No. 18 Wisconsin and Texas A&M over No. 15 Arizona State.
Naturally, everyone is talking about the SEC flexing its muscles during Week 1 action.
SEC Network analyst and former Alabama quarterback Greg McElroy called it for what it was Saturday:

Naturally, McElroy would take some heat from fans from other conferences, but for the most part, there’s not much other fans could really say.
