Herbstreit released his new top four projection shortly after the Crimson Tide put the finishing touches on their best win of the season. Alabama jumped two spots to No. 2 behind Clemson and in front of Ohio State and surprise unbeaten Oklahoma State.
The Cowboys ran away from previously unbeaten and fifth-ranked TCU on Saturday, 49-29, in Stillwater.
