SEC Media Days are coming back to Alabama in 2019. But after that, it could be on the move again.
SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey confirmed on Monday during SEC Media Days that the event will return to Hoover, Ala., next season. The event, which runs through Thursday, is taking place at the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta this week.
Prior to this year, SEC Media Days had been held in Alabama since 1985. It took place at the Wynfrey Hotel in Hoover for the 17 previous years.
However, the event may be on the move again in 2020. According to Tony Barnhart of the SEC Network, there will be a “serious discussion” about taking the event to different venues in future years.
