COVID-19 is starting to take its toll again on sporting events.
South Carolina announced that its final nonconference game of the season against South Carolina State has been canceled because of concerns related to a COVID outbreak:
Wednesday's game between South Carolina and South Carolina State has been postponed due to issues related to COVID-19, per release.

The game was supposed to be played on Wednesday, Dec. 29, but the school has not said if this game will be made up or not.
Tennessee also had a game against Memphis canceled recently for COVID reasons. We’ll see if the rest of the league’s Wednesday night games end up being played as scheduled.
COVID has forced numerous cancellations and postponements around the college hoops world this year.
