SEC Nation is heading to Death Valley for an SEC-Big Ten showdown.

LSU hosts B1G newcomer UCLA in Week 4, and it was revealed on Sunday morning that the weekly SEC Network Saturday pregame show will be showcasing the nonconference clash between the Tigers and the Bruins.

The 2-1 Tigers are stepping out of conference play for the third time this season on Saturday for the 3:40 p.m. ET kickoff from Baton Rouge, in a game that will be broadcast on ABC. LSU barely survived its Week 3 trip to South Carolina, prevailing 36-33 in a thrilling game that was filled with some controversial calls late.

In an interesting twist, LSU will be facing its 2nd Los Angeles-area B1G school of the 2024 season. In the season opener on Labor Day weekend, the Tigers fell to USC, 27-20, in a neutral-site game in Las Vegas.

Brian Kelly’s team hopes it has better luck this time around against the other LA-area school that bolted from the Pac-12 and now resides in the Big Ten.

UCLA is 1-1 going into the showdown and is licking its wounds after suffering a 42-13 loss to Indiana on Saturday night in its home opener. It doesn’t get any easier for the Bruins, who will venture to Death Valley, a place they obviously aren’t familiar with.
