SEC Nation has announced its destination for Rivalry Week, and it’s one of the classics. The traveling pregame show’s next stop will be in Tuscaloosa, Alabama for the Iron Bowl clash between the Auburn Tigers and the Alabama Crimson Tide.
It’s a particularly intriguing game this year, partially due to the fact that no one can exactly predict the winner. In recent years — or even earlier on in this season — many would have projected that Alabama would have run Auburn out of Bryant-Denny Stadium.
But that is not the case anymore, with Auburn actually looking like the much more competitive team this time around, most recently topping the No. 15 Texas A&M Aggies, 43-41 in quadruple overtime at Jordan-Hare Stadium. Take Nick Saban’s word for it, which he reiterated on Saturday, that place is indeed haunted.

Alabama did not have the same type of exhilarating experience over the weekend. In fact, the Crimson Tide were what allowed just that to be brought to Norman, Oklahoma, where they were thrashed by the Sooners, 24-3.
Auburn, before Saturday, had just one win in SEC play for the season. The Tigers have got a chance to add another huge one to build upon their most recent statement victory now.
Kickoff between the Crimson Tide and the Tigers is set for 3:30 p.m. ET in Tuscaloosa on Saturday.
