McFarland picked Auburn over Ole Miss, Kentucky over Missouri, Tennessee over South Carolina and Florida over Georgia. He also predicted Clemson would defeat Florida State in the ACC’s biggest game of the week.
McFarland also gave his prediction for the first College Football Playoff rankings.

McFarland picked Alabama, Clemson, Washington and Michigan in the top 4. The CFB committee will make its first picks next Tuesday.
