Another week of exciting SEC action is in the books, and Week 3 provided plenty to discuss.
Alabama asserted its dominance with a win over Florida — although the Gators kept things close.
Auburn couldn’t come away with a road win at Penn State, but it was still a solid showing for the Tigers against one of the best teams in the Big Ten.
Georgia, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Arkansas and Kentucky all kept rolling to improve to 3-0.
As always, SEC Network analyst Cole Cubelic took to Twitter to share his thoughts on each of the 14 SEC teams on Sunday. Here are Cubelic’s takeaways from Week 3:
Who it each week, my Sunday SEC takeaways:
ALABAMA: Got a W in tough environment vs a good team. DL movement still giving OL issues. Liked distribution but still need to challenge downfield. Tacking wasn't good. Some freelancing on DL. 4 ran hard. 31 gutsy. 48 had a good game.

AUBURN: In the game late with chances. Thought defense played with legit intensity. Flew around. Needed a little more pass rush. Could get 1 on 1 wins often enough. OL wasn't great. Tackles bad, can't sugar coat it. QB had taken massive strides. Still figity at times. Feed 4 more

GEORGIA: JT was on freaking point. Some beautiful balls. Not as many breakdowns up front as last week. The front seems like it can take over whenever they want. Still need to protect the football. Can't have those turnover later. That's was the offense expected out of spring.

LSU: Handled their business. Goid to see 7 looking like we expect him to. OL better. DL dominant, especially the interior. 1 is the real deal. Young WRs picked it up. I'm excited to see Kiner get more touches. Chemistry on off looked improved. If that continues Tigers are ??

MISSOURI: Handled their business. QB was tossing darts. Badie solid. Good to see younger backs get some work. OL needed a game like this after a few frustrating outings. Great reps for depth. 675yds always get a wow from me. The quick start may have the best part. Leave no doubt.

SOUTH CAROLINA: Big to have Doty back. Offense just more capable with his skill set. Vann is becoming a legit number 1 WR. Harris back in heavy rotation will also help. 1 & 99 flashed on defense. Outmanned in this one. Pretty good matchup next though. The OL must continue to grow

TEXAS A&M: Handled their business. Finally saw Demas we've been hearing about. Calzada has tools just needs reps & time. My OL concerns are growing but not panic mode yet. DL seems to be carrying large portion of the team. 2nd level of defense not super consistent. 28 was great.

VANDERBILT: Got off to a great start then it was like a wave hit right before half. Too many 3 & outs. But the run game did show some promise. No Davis in 2nd half hurt & interceptions continue to slow offense down. The execution over all still looks like it's growing. Be patient
