After Vanderbilt defensive lineman Nifae Lealao’s comment saying “Alabama, you’re next” blew up last week, the discussion of giving opposing teams bulletin board material has been a hot topic.

Yesterday, one of the SEC Network’s analyst, Cole Cubelic, talked about that very thing during his “Fired Up with Cole Cubelic” segment with AL.com.

Here’s what the former Auburn offensive lineman had to say when asked about bulletin board material.

“I’ve always thought bulletin board material was somewhat stupid,” Cubelic said. “I think that ultimately, if you can’t motivate yourself to go out and play football and give your best effort, then what’s the point in even going out there?”

It’s a solid argument, but that wasn’t all. Cubelic then segmented into talking about the “we want Bama” chant that a lot of players and fans participate in from time-to-time.

“The whole “we want Bama” thing has turned into a joke. It’s suppose to be funny,” Cubelic said. “Here’s the problem, everyone just wants to be mad. Everyone knows that’s suppose to be funny. Like, when Washington State puts that up, or someone does a meme with Kim Jong Un saying “we want Bama,” are we mad at him now? Are people mad at North Korea because someone made a meme that says he wants Bama?”

For those who aren’t familiar with the meme involving Kim Jong Un, here it is:

I’m not sure this image is upsetting to Alabama fans. In fact, I believe the only thing upsetting to Alabama fans about the meme is that they’re only 24-point favorites.

Here’s the full clip of Cubelic’s segment from yesterday:
