Alabama was the most penalized team in the SEC during Week 10, but losing the battle and winning the war is probably just fine with the Crimson Tide. They beat arch-rival LSU 30-16 to take the lead in the SEC West
Alabama was whistled for nine penalties worth 88 yards, both highest in the league. The Tide has 63 penalties on the year, second-worst in the league behind Ole Miss (64). Ole Miss also leads Alabama in penalty yards (577 to 575) on the season. LSU had seven penalties for 48 yards.
Auburn and Mississippi State stayed out of trouble in Week 10. Each had just two penalties. They are the least penalized teams in the league with 38 and 35, respectively.
