How SEC players performed in Wild Card weekend of the NFL playoffs

While SEC pride will be on the line tonight in the National Championship Game, the league had plenty to brag about during the NFL’s Wild Card Weekend.
Here is a breakdown of major contributors with SEC ties from each game:
HOUSTON TEXANS
- RB Alfred Blue (LSU) — Had 17 carries for 99 yards
- LB Bernardrick McKinney (Mississippi State) — Posted nine tackles
- DB Kareem Jackson (Alabama) — Posted seven tackles
- DB Andre Hal (Vanderbilt) — Posted six tackles
KANSAS CITY CHIEFS
- WR Jeremy Maclin (Missouri) — Had three catches for 29 yards before leaving with an ankle injury
- RB Knile Davis (Arkansas) — Returned the game’s opening kick 106 yards for a touchdown
- WR Chris Conley (Georgia) — Hauled in a 9-yard TD pass
- DB Eric Berry (Tennessee) — Posted three tackles and had an interception
- DL Jaye Howard (Florida) — Posted four tackles and a sack
CINCINNATI BENGALS
- QB AJ McCarron (Alabama) — Completed 23 of 41 passes for 212 yards, a TD and an interception
- RB Jeremy Hill (LSU) — Rushed for 50 yards and a TD and caught three passes for 27 yards
- WR A.J. Green (Georgia) — Caught five passes for 71 yards and a score
- DB Shawn Williams (Georgia) — Posted five tackles
- DB Reggie Nelson (Florida) — Posted three tackles
PITTSBURGH STEELERS
- LB Jarvis Jones (Georgia) — Posted four tackles
- LB Bud Dupree (Kentucky) — Posted three tackles
- G Ramon Foster (Tennessee) and T Marcus Gilbert (Florida) — Started on the offensive line
MINNESOTA VIKINGS
- WR Mike Wallace (Ole Miss) — Had a catch for 10 yards
- WR Jarius Wright (Arkansas) — Had a catch for 9 yards
- DL Sharif Floyd (Florida) — Posted three tackles and a sack
- K Blair Walsh (Georgia) — Made three of four field-goal attempts, but missed a 27-yard try in the final minute of a 10-9 loss
SEATTLE SEAHAWKS
- RB Christine Michael (Texas A&M) — Rushed 21 times for 70 yards and caught a pass for 15 yards
- LB K.J. Wright (Mississippi State) — Posted seven tackles and got in on a sack
WASHINGTON REDSKINS
- TE Jordan Reed (Florida) — Had nine catches for 120 yards and a TD
- DB Quenton Dunbar (Florida) — Posted five tackles
- LB Preston Smith (Mississippi State) — Posted three tackles
GREEN BAY PACKERS
- RB Eddie Lacy (Alabama) — Rushed 12 times for 63 yards and a score
- WR Randall Cobb (Kentucky) — Rushed five times for 24 yards and caught three passes for 38 yards and a TD
- DB Casey Hayward (Vanderbilt) — Posted seven tackles
- DB Ha Ha Clinton-Dix (Alabama) — Posted five tackles
