SEC sets record for most bowl wins in a season by one conference

Remember when the critics said the SEC was having a down year because of shaky quarterback play?
Well, we see your spotty quarterback play and raise you with some of the best running backs and defensive fronts that college football has to offer.
The result?
The SEC set a college football record with eight bowl wins in the same season.
In total, the league was 8-2, and has an extra game coming when Alabama takes on Clemson in the College Football Playoff championship game on Jan. 11.
