One of the nation’s top receiver prospects is ready to announce when he’s ready to announce…

Five-star Tyjon Lindsey tweeted out this hype video Sunday and declared August 22 as the day he plans to commit to one of his nine finalist – which include Auburn, Alabama and Tennessee from the SEC:

The 5-foot-9, 180-pound Lindsey is currently ranked as the No. 16 prospect in the nation, the No. 4 prospect from California and the No. 4 receiver by 247Sports. Lindsey will have an opportunity to showcase his national standing while in attendance for The Opening Finals at Nike headquarters in early July.

As a junior, Lindsey recorded 1,117 receiving yards, 14 receiving touchdowns, 2 punt return touchdowns and an interception.

What the small receiver may lack in stature, he more than makes up for in physicality, toughness and open field moves. This highlight reel shows off his all-around abilities:

While all three SEC schools would be fortunate to land Lindsey, one national recruiting analyst thinks the talented receiver is Ohio State bound:

However Lindsey is coming off a visit to Nebraska and has received a number of Crystal Ball predictions for the Cornhuskers after visiting Lincoln this weekend.
