Interesting notes:
- Who would have thought that the Florida Gators would be leading the league in passing offense? Even against a weak opponent, the 382 yards of passing on 81% completions is encouraging for Florida fans.
- On the flip side, Auburn is ranked last in passing offense after the Louisville game. Were the struggles in the passing game due to playing a strong opponent in Louisville, or something more concerning for Auburn fans?
- The much hyped Alabama defensive front was dominant against a decent Wisconsin team. The Tide allowed 40 yards on the ground, and you can bet this squad will be at or near the top of the rushing defense rankings all year.
- Texas A&M is middle of the pack in total defense, but after playing a very good team in Arizona State, Aggies must be thrilled with the week 1 outing. Can Chavis keep the Aggie defense in the upper half all season long?
