The success of any program — and conference for that matter — is measured in wins. It’s truly the barometer that trumps all over measures.
SEC has three of the top 4 winning streaks in the country — Ala, 14; Tennessee, 8; Georgia, 7. UT longest streak since ‘99

As it currently stands, the SEC holds three of the top four winning streaks in the country. Alabama has won 14-straight contests — followed by Tennessee (8) and Georgia (7). San Diego St. (9) has the second-most straight victories.
When looking ahead to the upcoming slate of games, Alabama has a tough game this upcoming weekend at Ole Miss. The following two weeks feature cupcakes (Kent St., Kentucky) followed by two back-to-back contests on the road against Arkansas and Tennessee. While the Crimson Tide will be favored in every upcoming game, the win-streak surely is in jeopardy against three quality opponents on the road.
Tennessee’s streak could come to an end against Alabama — but the Vols also will face their arch-nemesis Florida on Sep. 24. UT also has two road games against Georgia and Texas A&M before the ‘Bama tilt.
As for the Bulldogs, they may have the best chance at extending the streak. Kirby Smart’s team has the easiest schedule of the three teams — with games at Mizzou and Ole Miss, followed by contests versus Tennessee, South Carolina, and Vanderbilt.
