This Saturday, ESPN’s College GameDay will be in Clemson for the Top 5 showdown between the Tigers and the Louisville Cardinals. The pregame show’s location for next weekend is still up in the air, however, and a pair of SEC schools look to be in the mix.
Speaking with radio host Bo Mattingly, GameDay research producer Chris Fallica named three matchups that have the show’s attention with a probable late-Saturday decision looming.
Fallica: Arkansas/Bama, A&M/UT, Miami/FSU are three good choices for GameDay next week. Will probably be a late-Saturday decision again.

The two SEC matchups that Fallica mentioned are certainly enticing options. Arkansas is coming off of a loss to Texas A&M but have been a tough out in the SEC West in recent seasons and could give No. 1 Alabama a good battle. If Tennessee gets a win on the road against Georgia and Texas A&M does the same against South Carolina, this could the most likely choice.

Of course, this is all dependent upon Saturday’s action. But, for now, it looks like GameDay could be coming back to the SEC.
