Poor World.
What more can you say after the World sent Troy and New Mexico State into the SEC slaughterhouse, where the two programs with one combined victory this season lost by a combined 77 points to Mississippi and Mississippi State.
The SEC went 2-0 vs. The World on Saturday after going 4-0 in Weeks 4 and 5, and 5-0 in Week 3. (We’ll forget about what happened in Week 2.)
Week 6 conference games were far more compelling, highlighted by Tennessee’s stirring comeback and upset over slight favorite Georgia.
The World will have two more chances in Week 7, with Memphis (5-0, American Athletic) hosting Ole Miss, and Louisiana Tech (4-2, Conference USA) traveling to Mississippi State.
