SEC reveals updated Week 1 schedule for the 10-game, conference-only football season
While we wait for the complete 10-game, conference-only schedules to be revealed by the Southeastern Conference (that’s coming at 7 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. CT on the SEC Network), the Week 1 schedule has just been revealed on Monday’s edition of “The Paul Finebaum Show.”
The announcement of these games come after the SEC shifted to a conference-only, 10-game schedule a few weeks ago. The league also pushed the start of the season back to Saturday, Sept. 26.
Less than two weeks ago, the SEC revealed the two additional cross-divisional games for each league team that would be played after the decision was made to expand from eight league games to 10.
Here are the new SEC games that were added to the schedule on Aug. 8: Alabama (vs. Kentucky, at Missouri), Arkansas (vs. Georgia, at Florida), Auburn (vs. Tennessee, at South Carolina), Florida (vs. Arkansas, at Texas A&M), Georgia (vs. Mississippi State, at Arkansas), Kentucky (vs. Ole Miss, at Alabama), LSU (vs. Missouri, at Vanderbilt), Ole Miss (vs. South Carolina, at Kentucky), Mississippi State (vs Vanderbilt, at Georgia), Missouri (vs. Alabama, at LSU), South Carolina (vs. Auburn, at Ole Miss), Tennessee (vs. Texas A&M, at Auburn), Texas A&M (vs. Florida, at Tennessee) and Vanderbilt (vs. LSU, at Mississippi State).
