A number of former LSU greats were along the sidelines for Saturday night’s SEC West showdown between the Tigers and top-ranked Alabama, although current Arizona Cardinals safety Tyrann Mathieu was the only one who donated $1 million to his alma mater.
The school announced the donation during the first quarter of the game.

Better known as “The Honey Badger,” Mathieu was among the many former Tigers gathered along the sidelines to join the throng of 102,321 faithful at Tiger Stadium. Others included Patrick Peterson, Jeremy Hill, Kwon Alexander, Lamar Louis, La’el Collins, Deion Jones and Jalen Collins, according to the Times-Picayune.
