With five SEC teams hosting opponents in Week 6, several highly sought after high school prospects attended the games of schools that are heavily involved in their recruitment.
LSU played its game against South Carolina in Baton Rouge, but since it was technically considered a home game for the Gamecocks, the Tigers weren’t allowed to invite any of their recruiting targets for a campus visit.
It’s common for recruits to tweet out photos or videos while on their visits, and SDS decided to take a look at some of the key trips from Week 6.
Alabama not only beat Arkansas 27-14 in Tuscaloosa, but the Crimson Tide also received a commitment from 2017 four-star quarterback Jake Fromm. With Fromm giving his verbal commitment to Nick Saban this weekend, Alabama now has eight commits in its 2017 class, including seven that are ranked in the ESPN Junior 300.
After much thought and prayer I would like to announce that I am committed to the University of Alabama!!!🐘🐘 pic.twitter.com/gVTla79F51

Tennessee pulled off perhaps the biggest SEC win of the weekend by mounting a comeback to beat Georgia in Knoxville. And the Volunteers picked a great week to perform at their best with several high-profile recruits at Rocky Top to witness the victory. Five-star defensive back Lamont Wade was on hand in Knoxville and tweeted out this picture before the game.

California 2016 three-star wide receiver Javon McKinley took his official visit to Tennessee this past weekend. He tweeted out this picture of himself and family members on the field of Neyland Stadium before the game.

The Volunteers hosted another wideout Saturday as well. Kyle Davis is a Georgia native and the No. 1-ranked wide receiver in the 2016 class. With a top three of Auburn, Georgia and Tennessee, this was a very big visit for Davis. He posed for this picture at the game with 2017 safety prospect Stuart Head.

And Tennessee wasn’t finished there with hosting some of the top wide receiver recruits in the country. Four-star Donovan Peoples-Jones took to Twitter to go as far as to say that he had just been to the best college football game of his life.
It was crazy in Neyland Stadium tonight !!! Livest game I’ve been to so far 🍊#VolNation#RockyTop — Donovan P. Jones (@dpeoplesjones) October 11, 2015
Missouri received an official visit from four-star offensive tackle Tramonda Moore. Despite a loss to Florida, Moore seemed to enjoy his visit to Columbia and tweeted out this photo that he took with Tigers head coach Gary Pinkel.

Four-star senior wide receiver A.J. Brown didn’t have to travel far to check out Mississippi State’s 45-17 win over Troy. The Starkville native shared his view of the field from his seat in Davis Wade Stadium with the folks on Twitter.
