BizJournals.com did a feature Thursday on Nike, Adidas and Under Armour with how much they pay every school, and you can read about the study here.
Nike, Adidas and Under Armour will pour more than $300 million into athletic departments this year. Texas has the largest account in the database with Nike, which pays the university over $3.8 million and another $9 million in cash annually.
As you can see below, Texas A&M gets the most from the apparel allowance with $4.5 million from Adidas, while South Carolina gets the most cash from Under Armour at $4.5 million.
Arkansas and Vanderbilt weren’t included in the database, and it’s likely the schools didn’t respond to the public inquiry.
