No player has scored more points in Texas A&M football history than Seth Small.

On Saturday, the senior kicker broke the program’s all-time scoring record with a 27-yard field goal in the 2nd quarter against Prairie View A&M. Small’s kick gave the Aggies a 24-0 lead and pushed his career points total to 368.

The previous record was held by fellow kicker Randy Bullock, who scored 365 points at Texas A&M from 2008-11.

Small has been impressive throughout his 4-year career with the Aggies, but the 2021 season has been his best yet. He now has a career-high 21 field goals this year, after making 20, 18 and 11 in the previous 3 seasons.

With his first 3 extra points made on Saturday, Small improved to 158-for-159 on extra-point attempts over his career at Texas A&M.

Small likely will continue to add to his record. Texas A&M is routing Prairie View A&M, so he’ll likely score more points on Saturday. Then, the Aggies end the regular season with a matchup at LSU next week, before they end the year with a bowl game.

So while Small has only 3 more points than Bullock, he should stretch that to a wider margin before wrapping up his college career.
