Shedeur Sanders has joyous reaction to being picked in NFL Draft

Shedeur Sanders, at long last, was selected in the 2025 NFL Draft, everybody could take a breath and Sanders himself could finally celebrate.

It somehow took until Day 3 of the draft on Saturday in Green Bay and until the 6th pick of the 5th round — No. 144 overall — for Sanders to come off the board when the Cleveland Browns made the pick heard around the football world.

Sanders, the former star quarterback at Colorado who many NFL Draft experts had going in the first round, will forever be a 5th-round pick. The mystery behind that fact will swirl for days, weeks, months and probably years, but Sanders hung tough and met the moment with unbridled happiness when his name finally went up.

His draft gathering all hunkered around the TV and when they heard Sanders’s name called, it was instant screaming and dancing around as Sanders held a football in his hand.
