Shedeur Sanders has been the star of college football this season, leading the Colorado Buffaloes to a 2-0 start and the No. 18 ranking in the country.

Through 2 games, Sanders is 69-of-89 for 903 yards and 6 touchdowns. He has also not thrown an interception and has done a fantastic job of distributing the ball.

Colorado has 4 wide receivers averaging at least 71.5 yards, including Xavier Weaver who is 7th in the country, averaging 144.0 yards per game.

Not only are college football fans taking notice of Sanders’ incredible play, but NFL scouts are as well.

Pete Thamel on ESPN reported that at least 20 NFL scouts are planning to head to Boulder in 2 weeks when Colorado hosts USC and star quarterback, Caleb Williams.

Williams is almost a foregone conclusion to be the No.1 pick in the 2024 draft, while North Carolina’s Drake Maye is the consensus No. 2 quarterback prospect.

There are a few candidates who are competing for that No. 3 quarterback spot. Washington’s Michael Penix Jr., Michigan’s J.J. McCarthy and Texas’ Quinn Ewers are all very good players, but Sanders’ play has put NFL scouts on notice.

Sanders will try to get the Buffaloes to 3-0 as Colorado hosts Colorado State on Saturday at 10 pm ET on ESPN.
