One of the nation’s top uncommitted prospects just ended his college recruitment as Shemar Turner has made his final decision.

While Alabama, Georgia, LSU and Texas were all after the five-star prospect from Desoto, Texas, Turner has made the decision to join Jimbo Fisher’s Texas A&M program.

Turner shared the news on Saturday afternoon.

The 6-foot-3, 282-pound Shemar is rated as a five-star prospect, the No. 4 strongside defensive end and the No. 31 overall recruit in the 2021 recruiting cycle by 247Sports Composite Rankings.

The Texas native has also been selected as a 2021 Under Armour All-American. Unfortunately, that game was canceled due to COVID but players are still being honored by the event.

Shemar is the first five-star to commit to Texas A&M in the 2021 recruiting cycle. He give the Aggies a total of 19 total commitments with the Early Signing Period set to begin on Wednesday.

The Aggies currently have a top 15 recruiting class with room for improvement before the signing period arrives in the coming days.
