Kentucky basketball went from playing one blue blood program to another this Saturday, as a schedule shakeup saw the Wildcats’ matchup with UCLA be switched out for a game against North Carolina.

Kentucky will face North Carolina in Cleveland on Saturday afternoon as part of the CBS Sports Classic.

According to the Kentucky program, the move was “created to more closely align COVID-19 testing protocols between the competing programs and their respective conferences.”

No. 22 North Carolina was originally slated to play No. 20 Ohio State on Saturday.

Kentucky is off to a brutal start to the 2020-2021 season, with a 1-4 record. They will look to bounce back with a big win against the 4-2 Tar Heels on Saturday.
