One of the top prospects from the state of Alabama is down to 10 schools.

Mario Craver, a 4-star wide receiver from Pinson (Ala.) Clay-Chalkville, revealed on Wednesday that he has cut his list of suitors from 20 Power 5 (or soon-to-be) schools in half. Six schools from the SEC landed in his top 10 — Alabama, Auburn, Florida, LSU, Ole Miss, and Texas A&M. Craver is also considering Miami, Louisville, Florida State, and Georgia Tech.

A 5-foot-11, 165-pound wideout from the 2024 class, Craver rates as a 4-star prospect in the industry-generated 247 Composite. He’s the No. 14 recruit from the state of Alabama and the No. 35 wide receiver in the class. Overall, he ranks No. 239 nationally.

As a sophomore in the fall of 2021, Craver was the 2nd-leading receiver for the Alabama 6A state champions, averaging 62.5 receiving yards a game. As a junior, he posted 32 receptions for 525 yards in 6 games. Over his last 2 seasons (21 games), he has 19 touchdowns.

Craver also competes in track and field for his school, and has verified marks of 10.74 in the 100 meters, 22.59 in the 200 meters, and 21-feet-8.75 in the long jump.
