Ole Miss had a spectacular record setting season during 2021; however, it will have many pieces to replace in 2022. The latest is Rebels running back Snoop Conner.
Conner announced Wednesday night that he was foregoing his senior season and entering the NFL Draft.
“After continuous prayer and talks with my family, I have made the decision to forego my senior season and enter my name in the 2022 NFL Draft,” Conner wrote on Twitter. “I will always be an Ole Miss Rebel. It is not a goodbye Rebel Nation, it is a see you later. Thank you for everything.”

Conner is just the latest among several players leaving early for the Rebels. Quarterback Matt Corral, running back Jerrion Ealy and linebacker Mark Robinson have all declared for the NFL Draft.
Conner had a nice season for the Rebels, rushing for 647 yards and 13 touchdowns. He also added 14 catches for 82 yards.
With Conner and Ealy both gone, it becomes important that Ole Miss land TCU transfer Zach Evans. The Rebels are the favorite to land the former 5-star, and that would be a huge addition to Lane Kiffin’s offense.
