So far, so good: Georgia QB JT Daniels receives great reviews halfway through UGA debut
Georgia quarterback JT Daniels is off to a good start in his Bulldogs career.
He completed 13-of-17 passes for 204 yards and two touchdowns in his first half of football with Georgia.
Here’s his touchdown to George Pickens:

Daniels earned his first playing time of the season in this game after Georgia coach Kirby Smart decided to bench Stetson Bennett during UGA’s off week. Bennett completed just 55.6 percent of his passes and threw six interceptions in six games.
Mississippi State has played well enough to force a 17-17 tie at the half.
Here’s some of the reaction to Daniels’ debut:
JT Daniels is looking the part in his Georgia debut. That’s only step 1 in fixing the offense, but it’s a big one.

OK – we know this much about JT Daniels. He has an arm. A strong arm.

THAT was a helluva throw by JT Daniels to Jermaine Burton. A 46-yard STRIKE.

JT Daniels is obviously the best option for Georgia.

JT Daniels should of been playing way sooner for Georgia. Kirby Smart once again wasn’t so smart with his quarterback decision. Gotta be so frustrating for UGA fans, there is so much talent on that team.

We need a thorough investigation of the absolute coaching blunder of not starting JT Daniels from THE JUMP

There’s literally no way JT Daniels actually lost the QB battle unless he was still not 100% healthy https://t.co/9tbVtS5ZFp

JT Daniels looking good so far and we have a George Pickens sighting. @GeorgiaFootball has to be careful on the defensive side. They are only rushing 3 and dropping 8 allowing the check down passes. #HailState #UGA #georgia #football #atlanta #athens #Mississippi #saturday pic.twitter.com/N4AqewOzn5
