HOW ‘BOUT THEM COWBOYS!
The battle cry of those who support Dallas should potentially be changed to ‘WHO’S OUR STARTING QUARTERBACK GOING FORWARD?’
Rookie sensation Dak Prescott continues to shine in Tony Romo’s absence. He led the Cowboys to an emphatic 30-16 victory over the Green Bay Packers in Lambeau Field on Sunday afternoon. Dallas (5-1) now sits atop the NFC East Division.
With Romo slated to return relatively soon, what will happen going forward? Will Dallas opt to bench Prescott in favor of the veteran, injury-prone signal-caller?
Many took to Twitter to voice their opinions on the matter:
There is NO WAY Romo starts when he's able to play. Unless he takes a crowbar to Dak's knee.

That's it: No more Tony Romo this year, unless there's an injury. Dak Prescott just won the right to take the reins the rest of the season.

Kinda sad, but I think watching from the sidelines today… even Tony Romo has to know that Dak Prescott should be the QB right now.

As a eagles fan we need Romo to come back because this Prescott kid is really good.

If the Cowboys go back to Tony Romo, it would be nothing short of insane. Dak Prescott has earned the right to be the guy rest of season.

Dak Prescott wasn't perfect, but he overcame mistakes to have a good game. Big win in toughest environment so far. Passes another huge test.

The @dallascowboys look for real with Dak Prescott at QB and Zeke at RB. New energy has them playing with confidence. #DALvsGB

Jason Garrett should bench Dak for Romo primarily because it would make my @SiriusXMNFL show & @RTFPodcast so easy to rip that asinine move.

Dak Prescott has 3 TD passing, Ezekiel Elliott over 100 yards rushing. #Cowboys rookies continue to excel

Of course, you can’t forget about the Cowboys’ third-string quarterback making some noise….
