Georgia cruised to a 41-17 victory at South Carolina on Saturday, despite many expecting the matchup to be more competitive prior to kickoff.
The Dawgs jumped out to an early lead, outscoring the Gamecocks 17-7 in the first quarter and held momentum throughout the contest.
Georgia’s running backs combined for 271 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 52 carries, while its defense held south Carolina to 54 yards on 20 attempts.
Naturally, the Bulldogs were praised on social media for their efforts, while the Gamecocks were the target of many jokes.

Bentley has thrown 32 passes. On pace for over 60. In my opinion that fits right into Georgia's favor. #UGA needs points on its first possession to take out the crowd.

Georgia has looked like the No. 3 team in CFB in this third quarter. Elite.
