Social media roasts Alabama DC Pete Golding

Alabama fans grew quickly frustrated in the first half as Ole Miss got off to a strong start offensively. Defensive coordinator Pete Golding was the target of the fans frustration.

The Rebels averaged 8.5 yards per play by midway through the second quarter.

It took the Rebels less than a minute to score the first touchdown of the game, a six-yard Matt Corral pass to Kenny Yeboah, and then Jerrion Ealy tacked on a four-yard score to give Ole Miss a 14-7 lead.

After Alabama tied the game, the Rebels responded with a run-heavy drive led by Snoop Conner, who scored a touchdown with 3:15 left in the first half. That drive gave Ole Miss 304 total yards in the game.
