LSU fell short in the final minute against Ole Miss after a 60-minute shootout, losing to the Rebels 55-49.
It’s been a disappointing season for Tigers’ fans after starting off the year with a loss to Florida State and now another loss to a ranked team in Week 5. After a promising showing last year, it’s not the season most were expecting from the Tigers.
And things aren’t going to get easier for LSU. The Tigers still have to face teams like Missouri and Alabama down the road.
What does LSU need to do to get back on track? Playing competent defense is a start. The Tigers’ defense was nonexistent against the Rebels as Ole Miss racked up over 700 yards of total offense.
Brian Kelly has been subject to criticism his entire time at LSU, and college football fans jumped at the opportunity to get their jokes off about Kelly on social media following the game.
