Four-star DE Patrick Bethel announced his commitment to the Hurricanes tonight. Bethel is a legacy for the Canes. His father was TE Randy Bethel, and he was part of the 1989 National Championship team.
Bethel received offers from 32 schools, and among those were six SEC schools: Alabama, Auburn, Florida, LSU, Ole Miss and Tennessee. But in the end, he decided to follow in his father’s steps and choose Miami.
The SEC is definitely missing out on this one.
