The South Carolina Gamecocks are preparing for a game at Tennessee on Saturday evening, but they got some good news ahead of time.
A Columbia cornerback announced via Twitter that he’d be joining the Gamecocks’ 2020 class as a walk-on.
As you can see below, Fabian Goodman announced the news on Twitter on Saturday afternoon:

Goodman has yet to be rated by any of the major recruiting services. He did not have a scholarship offer from the Gamecocks, so he’ll be a walk-on player.
Currently, South Carolina has 18 players in its 2020 recruiting class, which ranks No. 19 in the country and No. 7 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
