The Ol’ Ball Coach isn’t the only Spurrier that is well liked among the South Carolina players.
Steve Spurrier’s wife, Jerri, was a regular visitor to Gamecocks practices during her husband’s tenure as head coach, and a friendly face to many of the players.
On Thursday, Jerri Spurrier stopped by the practice field once again to see the players. Cornerback Demetrius Smalls was one Gamecock who was happy to see her.
Just gave Mama Spurrier a hug and she immediately starting crying… Damn I miss her so much!! We all do! Always great seeing her 😢❤️
