South Carolina defensive starter taking excused leave of absence from the team

Via a report from The State, USC cornerback Rico McWilliams has taken an excused leave of absence from the team to handle a personal matter.
McWilliams has missed the last three days of practice. According to head coach Will Muschamp, there is no timetable for his return.
A starter in parts of the last three seasons, McWilliams was slated to be an integral member of the secondary rotation in 2016.
