Can South Carolina (3-9, 1-7 in 2015) overcome its worst season since 1999 by breaking the mold and avoid the proverbial “rebuilding year” during Year 1 of the Will Muschamp era?
It’s hard to tell at this point, but Gamecocks fans can at the very least get excited about that thought for the next two-plus minutes.
YouTube user “GregoryEditing,” who clearly has spent some time in this department in the past, has put together a hype video for South Carolina heading into the 2016 season. It begins with some of the team’s best highlights from an ultimately forgettable year before changing up the music and inserting Muschamp’s introduction to “look ahead” and welcome the “new era.”

South Carolina will begin the season at Vanderbilt on Thursday, Sept. 1.
