Jaycee Horn has committed to South Carolina.
The Alpharetta, Ga., 2018 cornerback prospect posted his decision on Twitter Monday night.
“This has been a long process and I gained great relationships with a lot of coaches,” Horn said. “I thank all those guys for giving me knowledge that I will keep forever.
“With all that being said, on Wednesday, Dec. 20, I will be signing with the University of South Carolina!”
Horn is rated as a 4-star prospect by the 247Sports Composite. He’s listed as the No. 21 corner in the nation and is the No. 25 overall prospect in Georgia.
Horn is a 6-foot, 180-pound Under Armour All-American. He’s got an impressive offer list that includes scholarship opportunities from Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Georgia and Ohio State — among others.
Sometime after decommitting from Tennessee on Nov. 26, Horn decided to take visits to South Carolina. He visited the Gamecocks the past two weekends — officially and unofficially. That was apparently enough to sway him to attend USC.
He posted the following tweet announcing his decision:
