South Carolina’s Bryson Allen-Williams is out for the season after suffering a shoulder injury in the Gamecocks’ 17-16 win over Louisiana Tech on Saturday in Columbia.
Head coach Will Muschamp announced after the game that the senior linebacker would miss the rest of the year.
Allen-Williams posted about the injury on Twitter shortly thereafter.
“Hate I can’t finish the year with my brothers but it’s a Minor setback for a Major comeback,” he said. “After talking to Coach Muschamp, doctors and my family, I will be getting surgery on my shoulder this week…”
