South Carolina turned a rare triple play Friday night on the road against No. 13 Texas A&M.

In the bottom of the 3rd inning, Texas A&M trailed South Carolina 2-1. The Aggies got off to a good start in the frame. Kole Kaler walked and stole second base. Dylan Rock also walked to bring up Jack Moss with 2 on, no outs. Moss lined hard to second base. Kaler and Rock were far off the bag, allowing the Gamecocks to double and triple up the runners, ending the frame.

Texas A&M has taken a 3-2 lead in the bottom of the 4th inning at Blue Bell Park in College Station.

Texas A&M enters the series in a 3-way tie for second place in the SEC West. Arkansas leads the division at 14-7 in conference play while Auburn, LSU and Texas A&M are all 12-9. South Carolina is the fourth-place team in the SEC East at 9-12 in conference play.
