South Carolina is going with all black for this afternoon’s matchup with South Florida in the Birmingham Bowl.

The Gamecocks revealed their uniform combination Thursday morning for the team’s final appearance of the 2016 season:

It’s been a pleasant surprise watching South Carolina in Will Muschamp’s first season, as the team won four of six down the stretch to become bowl eligible after finishing just 3-9 during the 2015 campaign.

But in order for the Gamecocks to finish with a winning record — not to mention secure their fifth bowl win in a row — they will have to defy the odds against a USF opponent that boasts a top-10 scoring offense (43.6 points per game) and is 7-1 over its last eight games, entering today’s contest as 10-point underdogs.

South Carolina (6-6) and USF (10-2) will begin play at 2 p.m. ET on ESPN.
