Records indicate Texas A&M WR Speedy Noil was arrested late last week

It appears as though Texas A&M WR Speedy Noil was arrested last week in Texas by the Bryan Patrol of the Brazo County Sheriff’s Office.

According to jail records from Brazos County, Devante Lorenzo Noil was brought in on charges of driving without a driver’s license on Friday, April 1.

The records indicate he was held from 11:50 a.m. to 12:48 p.m. local time, and then released on $600 bond.

It’s an incredibly minor offense, but it’s not exactly the type of offseason news he was looking to generate.

After showing tremendous ability as a freshman in 2014, Noil had trouble staying on the field and on Aggies coach Kevin Sumlin’s good side in 2015.

He caught just 21 passes for 266 yards and two scores last season.
